A Memorial for a Man Who Lifted Souls With Song

A Memorial for a Man Who Lifted Souls With Song was an article that really touched my heart. It was about a Godly man who recently died. Timothy D. Wright age 61 died but his soul still lives across the Brooklyn area. He has touched many people with his inspirational gospel music. Many people die a day. Many family members are worried about where that person will go. But, when you have a family member or close one, that dies, and you know where they are going brings great peace across the environment. Although this article was not really about "politics" is does have a focus of government, because of someone movement across the country. Though this is not about money, nor a having power, its about many life's that were changed because of one man. Jesus. And Mr. Wright was a man of God and done his share of work on this earth for God with his music. I just think it's very inspirational to the community around the world to look more into the creator, understand the book, than to be all caught up in this world's politics. Everyone should just take a moment a day and thank God for everything he has done for you. Because you never know when it could be your last day. I'm sure Mr.Wright didn't know either. But he was ready. Are You?

Chrysler’s Fall May Help Administration Reshape G.M.

The article Chrysler’s Fall May Help Administration Reshape G.M. is about how Obama is trying to make General Motors a more complex company. As we all know G.M came to the point of bankrupt. To G.M Obama's decision has forced them to eliminate tens of thousand of jobs and closed factories dealerships nationwide. In Chrysler's case, this is very good. But no one thinks Obama will let this company fall apart. This could be a good think to the United States. Maybe they will consider having the Chevy Volt that is gas free on the streets and affortable. But then agian alot of people are loosing their jobs due to this issue.

A Motorcycle Rally Revs Up, Though It’s No Longer Welcome

In the article A Motorcycle Rally Revs Up, Though It’s No Longer Welcome has stated that they have now banned the rallies from gathering due to violence. It has said that at least five people die a year at these rallies due to traffic accidents and one college student shot to death. Now they have banned in it their location. Does this really help the crime problem. Bringing in these 500,000 bikers bring in million of dollars to the city. To me this just seems like many people have problems, but i do not think its due to them gathering in one place. Criminals are all over the world. Accidents happen all the time. Even though i am not for the nudity and vulgarness that goes on during theses rallies, they are bringing in money for benefits. I do not understand why people have to be so vulgar, when trying to help people. But this happens all over the world. Not just in Myrtle Beach.

After the Great Recession

The article After the Great Recession is basically another article about Obama and his great deeds that he has stated in some of his interviews. I have never been a political person. But in all my reading it says he has "said" he was going to change many things such as schools, energy, and affordable health care. Although I have not seen any of these things happen so far, I'm not saying it won't. I am a very trustworthy person, and people who say they are going to do something should do it. As a president he sort of has to, if he says he is going to. But this country is in desperate need of help and him helping us would be an awesome thing. Although I do not understand why entertainment people bring in millions of dollars a year, while there are millions starving in the United States. To me this is something that should be changed first. Although his ideas are very good, I just hope so see it come true.

Voices Reflect Rising Sense of Racial Optimism

In the article Voices Reflect Rising Sense of Racial Optimism is about a 69 year old African American who say that after Obama's election he sees a change in racial matters. He says now that strangers walking downtown have stopped and said "Hello Sir how are you" the fact that they have called him sir has shocked him. I personally do not think that the Obama election has changed the racial matters at all. This may be because I have never been exposed to racial people many of my family including my father is/are married to African Americans, so basically I am definitely not a racial person at all. But even so, I do not think that the color of someones skin could change a persons thoughts. I'm not saying that people haven't changed, but I personally have not seen this happen. To me, everyone is created equal in God's eye. Anyone who has hatred against a persons skin, red, black, or white is absolute dumb. Everyone should show everyone respect no matter what.

Swine Flu

The article Swine Flu: First Sow No Panic explains some of the cases across the world. In the United States only one has been so severe it led to death. Although that it has been in 21 states including KY as of today, it seems to be under control. Some of the procedure are washing hands long enough such as singing Happy Birthday, many more are avoiding touching door nobs, handrails, etc and making sure to wash your hand after every meal and everything you have touched. This case can be severe and consider it is all over the world. It frightens me working a truck stop where many people come in from all over the world, drivers or travelers, and not really knowing what they have. So make sure you take all things into consideration. Be very careful and wash your hand frequently.

Community Colleges Challenge Hierarchy With 4-Year Degrees

The article Community Colleges Challenge Hierarchy With 4-Year Degrees says that Florida has dropped the offers of bachelor degrees in not only teaching but many others such as nursing and public safety management. Also they have said that engineering technology and film production is soon to be dropped as well. This is a major problem considering a lot of students are very interested in the study and wanting to get their bachelors degree. The economic in the world today are very stressed and needing a lot of money brought in to the United States. Taking away this would cause more money to be dropped. Although I believe that college as well as health benefits should be free in the United States, like other countries, I know this will never happen. Even so, I think that they should consider having Bachelor degrees in all fields of study. That way, everyone can be happy in some way.

Maine Senate Backs Same-Sex Marriage

Okay. Same sex marriage has been a hot topic for some time now. The article Maine Senate Backs Same-Sex Marriage basically states Main has legalized same sex marriage. Although I am completely straight, and not for same sex relationships. I think that all humans have the right of speech, to vote, the right to have weapons, religion etc. so why shouldn't they have the freedom to marry who they want. I am a strong Christian, but I do not have judgement upon them. Everyone has there own thoughts, believes, culture and so forth. So if they have a religion, they know you will go to hell for marring the same sex. Therefore if they want to spend all eternity in hell...that's their decision..right?

The Mystery of the West is Solved

All my life I have been very fascinated by mystery's. This article grabbed my attention. Although I think the government has a lot of secrets from the rest of civilization, but I do not think that a lot of them are about murders. This brings me to my next conclusion that people are not crazy, a lot of legends have been reviled in the past decade. A lotof what has been found, are exactly the way people have described them. In the article The Mystery of the West is Solved it talks about how the 75 yr old legend about an artist named Everette Reuss who became missing in 1934 after living his dream of finding new beginnings has recently been found. Scientist believe that the DNA confirms Mr. Reuss. Many people have talked about his man, but no one could prove he existed. Now he does.

Brain Researchers Open Door to Editing Memory

The article's titled Brain Researchers Open Door to Editing Memory, pretty much is self explanatory. Let me start of by saying, who doesn't want some part of their memory to be gone forever. Everyone has something that has happened in their life, that has caused them to be different, scared, or upset over it and would love for it to have never happened. What if it really could? What if the scientist have came up with some sort of molecule that could erase that one memories like chronic fear, a traumatic loss, even a bad habit. To me, this all seems to good to be true. If you read the article it talks about how they have tested this only on animals such as rats. He states "He teaches them to move around a small chamber to avoid a mild electric shock to their feet. Once the animals learn, they do not forget. Placed back in the chamber a day later, even a month later, they quickly remember how to avoid the shock and do so." My question is, how is are brain even similar to a rats brain, this just doesn't seem right. Even though the mice and rats may of done exactly what they planned, who said a humans brain will act the same way. Many things could go wrong in this procedure, such as, what if you lost a memory that you didn't want to lose. Or say your bad habits are gone, but what if your curiosity about it increases and it becomes worse. To me a bad habit is all in your head any ways. Even if a drug could erase it, why would it come back. It just seems to me that scientist are coming up with different things that doesn't even really matter. We need to find many cures for other things, but then again, a man came up with the cure for cancer many years ago, and he suddenly disappeared. It's all about what the goverment thinks any way.

Obama Issues Ultimatum to Struggling Automakers

The article Obama Issues Ultimatum to Struggling Automakers doesn't shock me at all. President Obama has another speech about how he's going to help our economy's depth, only this time is about out the Automobile industry failing to meet their goals for the "people". Obama says "And so today, I am announcing that my administration will offer G.M. and Chrysler a limited period of time to work with creditors, unions and other stakeholders to fundamentally restructure in a way that would justify an investment of additional tax dollars; a period during which they must produce plans that would give the American people confidence in their long-term prospects for success. " Sounds great for the industries, but is a good thing for people like us who live in a small town. And will he actually do as he says. Many things he says he doesn't do. Like how in his speech before he was elected president he said he would pull the troops out. How is this when i know many people my self, who are getting shipped of to counties. Its a very good article, but when you read the ending it says the article written by the New York Times "Mr. Obama is well aware that he cannot afford to give the appearance of using tax dollars to reward executives who have done a poor job, and he began signaling as early as last week that he would take a tough stance with the automakers." which means he's bailing on us like usual. Nothing is really shocks me about this. Although I did not vote at all, I'm still a U.S Citizen. And I can see what the economy is doing in just a small town, such as tax's on everything. Cigarettes. Alcohol. How gas prices are starting to go back up. There are so many thing the government has and knows that we have know idea about. Such as how the guy in the 70's knew the cure for cancer, told the government, then he disapeared. Or like the guy who knew how to concerve gas prices, and they also shut him down. Why because cancer keeps the population down and they make billions of the products. It doesn't take a jealous to figure whats happening.

Tobacco Industry Fights Anti-Smoking Tax Plan

In the article Tobacco Industry Fights Anti-Smoking Tax Plan it talks about raising tax prices on cigarette's to help people quit smoking, expecially teenagers. Unfortuantly I am a smoker and live in a house full of smokers, who have been going through the increase of prices on cigarettes for many years. Although I do plan to quit smoking it's not due to the increasing cost; like many people, I want to elliminate nicotine from my system and quit smoking cigarettes for my health. Many American's smoke, and have been for years, raising the prices hasn't stoped them yet. I do believe it will help some people but not all people, because smokers will quit when they believe they want too, not because of the price of the ciggarette.
