Voices Reflect Rising Sense of Racial Optimism
In the article Voices Reflect Rising Sense of Racial Optimism is about a 69 year old African American who say that after Obama's election he sees a change in racial matters. He says now that strangers walking downtown have stopped and said "Hello Sir how are you" the fact that they have called him sir has shocked him. I personally do not think that the Obama election has changed the racial matters at all. This may be because I have never been exposed to racial people many of my family including my father is/are married to African Americans, so basically I am definitely not a racial person at all. But even so, I do not think that the color of someones skin could change a persons thoughts. I'm not saying that people haven't changed, but I personally have not seen this happen. To me, everyone is created equal in God's eye. Anyone who has hatred against a persons skin, red, black, or white is absolute dumb. Everyone should show everyone respect no matter what.
